Only the Greeks have stayed in the race for Vojvodjanska bank

Agency for deposit insurance announced that by June, 15th, 2006, by 3 P.M., has received only one comitting offer from National Bank of Greece (NBG), in the procedure of tender for privatization of Vojvodjanska bank from Novi Sad.
In the procedure of public openning of comitting offers has been determined that the NBG offer formally meets all conditions by the tender documentation and it is at the moment evaluated.
For the purchase of Vojvodjanska bank were interested four Greek banks, "National bank
of Greece", "Alpha", "Pireus" and "Emporiki bank" and on the list of potential buyers were also "OTP bank" from Hungary and "PKO bank" from Poland.
