Underground parking lot in Pionirski Park opened, construction of additional 3 garages in center of Belgrade - private investors

In the 20-year-old Citroen automobile, popularly called "Spaček" in our country, mayor of Belgrade put into operation underground garage with capacity of 473 parking places in Pionirski Park, beneath the Stari Dvor (the Old Palace). Construction of facility commenced in March 2002 and lasted for 22 months.

Bogdanović said that the new garages would be built in Belgrade. Depending on interest of concessionaires, there are several locations suitable for construction of underground parking lots. One of them is situated across the building of the Republic Parliament, the second one is at Studentski Trg Square, whereas the third one is in Strahinjića Bana Street.
