- The TV stations that got national frequencies in Serbia and did not exist before - Fox and TV Avala - will start to broadcast programmes when the Republic Agency for Telecommunications (RATEL) issues technical licenses - Aleksandar Vasić, the member of the Council of Republic Radio-diffusion Agency, confirmed.
Speaking about that, the president of the Administrative Board of RATEL, Jovan Radunović, is of the opinion that neither Fox, nor TV Avala will start to broadcast their programmes before the end of 2006.
- The deadline for delivery of technical documentation for all five TV stations is June 22. Following that date, RATEL is obliged to issue technical license within 45 days, i.e. prior to August 6, 2006. If the TV stations do not have regular documentation and required licenses, they will be given another 10 days to correct all mistakes – said Radunović.
