Drago Kavsek named new member of Mercator's Management Board

Drago Kavsek, chairman of the soft drinks maker Fructal, was appointed as the first member of the new Managing Board of Mercator on Monday (28 May 2012). He will assume the responsibility for finance and IT on June 1st, along with new chairman Toni Balazic.

Kavsek, 38, was appointed to the post by the supervisors Monday, to replace Melita Kolbezen.

The remaining two members are expected to be appointed at the next session of the supervisory board, planned for June 18th, according to the company.
