Reconstruction of parking lot near "Sava" Center starts on Friday, collecting of payment for parking starts on August 16

General manager of "Parking servis", Živorad Anđelković, announced the reconstruction of parking lot "Sava Centar" and introduction of charging for parking on that parking lot starting from August 16.

The commencement of works is expected on June 23, the works will be carried out in phases and, during that time, passing through the internal junction of "Sava" Center will be enabled, but slowed down.

The manager of "peaceful" traffic "Parking servis", Nikola Marjanović, explained that, in the first phase, June 23-29, certain part of the junction, which can be accessed from the direction of highway, will be narrowed due to works, which can make functionining of the traffic difficult.

In the second phase, June 29-July 7, and in the third phase, July 7 - 21, the works will be carried out on the internal junction of "Sava" Center. In all three phases, the parking will be opened, but the number of parking places will be reduced due to works.

Of 411 parking places, 68 on the parking lot near stage exit will be used by the employees of "Sava" Center, whereas the rest will be used by the visitors.

There will be two types of the subscription parking places: reserved, 50 places, and non-reserved, which are intended for the users of the Center. The ticket will be approved on the basis of proof on rental of office space in "Sava" Center.

Following the closing of the internal junction of "Sava" Center, alternative ways for the vehicles that moves towards Novi Beograd, will be the highway to two new cloverleaves near "Arena" and Vladimira Popovića Street, which joins Milentija Popovića Street near "Hyatt" hotel.
