Serbia's Piraeus Bank Beograd said on Friday it has raised its Tier I capital by EUR 20 million (USD 25.4 million). With this move, Piraeus Bank has further strengthened its position in the Serbian market, becoming one of the best capitalized banks with capital adequacy ratio of 30%, i.e. 2.5 times higher than the regulatory minimum, the lender said in a statement.
