Validity of Decree on Limiting the Prices of Petroleum Products extended until year-end

At its most recent session, the Government of Serbia adopted amendments to the Decree on Limiting the Prices of Petroleum Products.

The validity of this decree, as stated in the amendments, has been extended until December 31, 2026, that is, until the end of the year.

As a reminder, a decree was adopted at the end of August that extended the price caps on petroleum products for another two months.

Consequently, the maximum retail price for Eurodiesel and gasoline with value-added tax is determined based on the average wholesale price, with 21 dinars added for the trade margin.

At a session held on October 15, the Government also adopted amendments to the Decision on the Temporary Reduction of Excise Duty Rates on Petroleum Products, extending the validity of that decision until October 25.
