The data on the RegRDMI Map show that the implementers of regional development incentives in the first half of 2026 realized incentive funds in the total amount of RSD 116.3 billion. Compared to the same time period last year, incentive funding increased by 7.4%. Non-repayable funds amounted to RSD 105.9 billion, accounting for 91.1% of total incentives, of which RSD 79.1 billion refer to non-refundable subsidies, the SBRA says.
According to the purpose of investment, 84.8% of the total realized incentives (RSD 98.6 billion) were directed to: encouraging agriculture (RSD 65.5 billion); encouraging scientific research and development (RSD 9.1 billion); traffic infrastructure (RSD 8.5 billion); encouraging manufacture (RSD 8.3 billion); encouraging export (RSD 3.7 billion) as well as education, science, culture and sports (RSD 3.5 billion).
A significant portion of the total incentives provided was directed to agricultural households – RSD 65.4 billion (56.3%); then to the economy, specifically to companies and entrepreneurs - RSD 25.4 billion (21.9%); to institutions in the fields of education and science - RSD 11.4 billion (9.8%); and to local self-government units – RSD 10.1 billion (8.7%). Compared to the same time period of the previous year, a significant increase in incentive funds was recorded for agricultural households (66.5%) and local self-government units (24.0%).
The investments of the state and its institutions in the development of the economy and non-profit sector, i.e. regional development incentives, are presented on the RegRDMI Map according to purpose, users and implementers, as well as the type of financial incentive and territorial allocation of funds, the SBRA says.
The data on the RegMPRR Map has been integrated with data from other registers maintained by the Agency, as well as data obtained from other state bodies and organizations. Specifically, the map contains key data on the economy and non-profit sector (structural indicators, indebtedness, illiquidity and financial performance), as well as basic demographic and economic indicators (area, population, average salary, GDP, number of employed and unemployed persons, etc.).
– The RegMPRR Map represents a significant source of information for potential investors involved in regional development in the Republic of Serbia. Prior to investing in a particular territory, investors can gain detailed insight into the existing level of economic development and the development potential of the area, including the municipality’s level of development, population size, and the educational and qualification structure of the unemployed, among other indicators. At the same time, institutions use these data to plan and allocate incentive funds more efficiently. The ultimate objective of these measures is to reduce regional disparities, strengthen local economies, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the domestic economy – the SBRA points out.
