Vojislav Genic, general manager of SAP Western Balkans

SAP company, the market leader in the field of business application software, has announced the appointment of Vojislav Genic as the General Manager for the Western Balkans region.
Vojislav Genic will be responsible for driving SAP’s business in the region and will lead the country management team and business operations of the company in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro.
Genic left the position of the Public Sector Director at the company Atos Srbija (ex Siemens) to assume the new position. He previously ran the IT Solution and Services division of the ComTrade Group as its Vice President, having been promoted from the position of the Director of Spinnaker New Technologies after the acquisition of Slovenia's Hermes SoftLab. Vojislav Genic is a graduate mechanical engineer (Department of Process Engineering) and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Operations Research at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. He has daughter Natalija with his wife Dragana.
- SAP software is today used by over 120 organizations in Serbia, including some of the most successful companies in Serbia and many important public companies and institutions. The users of our solutions create more than 30% of Serbia's gross national product, while over 11,000 employees in Serbia use SAP software in their work. It is up to us to continue our intensive growth and increase the market share we've achieved over the past few years - said Vojislav Genic, the new general manager of SAP.
- Aside from the continued engagement in the real sector, one of our most important priorities in the years to come will be the focus on the public sector - he added.
