Partizan to start renovation of Humska stadium – Project worth EUR 5 million, tender coming soon

FK Partizan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Investment and the Football Association of Serbia, is launching a EUR 5 million project to renovate the Partizan stadium and prepare it to host the European Championship for youth players in the summer of 2027.

A UEFA delegation recently visited Belgrade, provided the necessary recommendations, and approved the start of the project’s implementation.

Milka Forcan, Partizan’s Vice President for Business Policy, spoke in more detail about this current topic.

– We confirm that we have been working intensively for several months, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Investment and the Football Association of Serbia, on preparing and defining the renovation project for the FK Partizan stadium. We are currently in the final stage of obtaining all necessary administrative approvals and expect the Government of Serbia to make a decision on Thursday that will create the conditions for the process to move forward, followed by the announcement of a tender for the construction work – said Milka Forcan, as reported by local media.

She also highlighted when the work might begin.

– If everything proceeds according to the planned schedule, we expect a construction site to be opened at the stadium in approximately 45 days.

Partizan has been advised to first overhaul the stadium’s entire electrical system, which includes replacing the floodlights. The project also entails renovating the East Stand and its VIP boxes, refurbishing the dressing rooms, creating a new press center, and installing a hybrid pitch. The stadium must meet strict UEFA standards and secure better conditions for hosting international matches.

– This is a significant moment for FK Partizan. After years of needing serious investment in infrastructure, we are finally entering the implementation phase of a project designed to significantly improve stadium conditions and bring us closer to meeting the strict requirements mandated by UEFA standards – concluded Forcan.
