Brewer "Carlsberg Srbija" in Čelarevo increases its production capacities from 1.1 to 1.5 million hectoliters per year, 6.3m EUR to be invested in new packaging line

With the new investment programme, which commenced this spring, company "Carlsberg Srbija" will increase its production capacities from 1.1 to 1.5m hl on annual basis and, at the same time, enhance the quality of its products.

That will make it possible for the brewery to satisfy growing demand for light beers, such as "Lav" and "tuborg green".

In the presence of Nils Andersen, the president of company "Carlsberg", which comes to Serbia for the first time, the new packaging line will be put into operation on July 5, 2006. This new line is capable of combining two primary packs, disposable glass packaging and aluminum tins of 0.33 and 0.5 l.

The value of the investments is 6.3m EUR. The realization of the project started in December 2005 and, according to the expectations, it should be finished prior to the end of June 2006.
