Famous Swedish company "Volvo" to have modern truck service center built in Novi Banovci - 3.5m EUR

- By the end of the year 2007, Swedish "Volvo Truck Corporation" will have the truck center worth 3.5m EUR built in Novi Banovci, near Stara Pazova - vice president of the Corporation, Roger Alm, announced.

The center would be built on the surface of 3 ha, whereas the building in which the sales department, the service for maintenance and repair of trucks and buses and warehouse for parts would be settled would have 3,300 square meters, said the manager of company "Volvo d.o.o" Per Gutman.

According to his words, the Center will be equipped with full respect of the highest "Volvo" standards that are applied in Europe for the facilities of such purpose. These are quality, safety and environment protection.

Roger Alm reminded that "Volvo" had been present in Serbia for more than three decades. The company opened its branch in Serbia in 1997 and, already next year, the daughter company - "Volvo d.o.o." - was founded, through which over 2,000 trucks have been sold to Serbia during the last 10 years.
