Strategic cooperation between FAP Corporation and Sinotruk International – Plans to upgrade production lines and develop new products with leading Chinese heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer

China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, one of China’s leading manufacturers of heavy-duty vehicles, and FAP Corporation may soon establish a strategic partnership, primarily in the field of vehicle manufacturing.

Bratislav Gasic, the Minister of Defense in a caretaker capacity, discussed this matter with representatives from Sinotruk International, highlighting the potential for cooperation with Chinese partners in vehicle production, particularly given FAP Corporation’s manufacturing capabilities.

According to Gasic, a partnership with FAP Corporation would be significant for the domestic defense industry as well as for enhancing the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The Chinese side expressed its readiness to collaborate with FAP Corporation across various areas, including technical cooperation, production line upgrades, the development of new products within the full range of heavy-duty vehicles, and the supply of components.
