Ministry of Economy selling shares of 10 companies owned by Equity Fund – Sectors ranging from trade and construction to metal processing and R&D

The Ministry of Economy has issued a notice regarding the sale of shares in ten joint-stock companies.

The sale concerns shares owned by the Equity Fund and will take place on the securities market.

– The Ministry of Economy will engage in share trading on the Belgrade Stock Exchange and place sell orders for shares owned by the Share Fund – the notice stated.

Depending on the specific company, the total number of shares offered for sale ranges from 570 to 10,410.

The shares offered for sale belong to the following companies: Imtel komunikacije AD Belgrade, Stoteks AD Novi Sad, Ukras AD Novi Pazar, Podunavlje AD Backa Palanka, Trgocentar AD Leskovac, Univerzal AD Kanjiza, Iritel AD Belgrade, GP Stig AD Pozarevac, Metaloplastika AD Cajetina, and Utva silosi AD Kovin.

These joint-stock companies operate in diverse sectors - ranging from research and development in natural and technical-technological sciences, through wholesale trade in grain, raw tobacco, seeds, and animal feed, the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, to specialized retail trade in hardware, paints, and glass, real estate leasing and management and the manufacture of metal products, metal structures, and structural components.

As indicated, trading will be conducted in accordance with the Capital Market Law and the operating rules and procedures of the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
