Fuel excise duty reduction extended until September 13

At its most recent session, the Government of Serbia extended the validity of the decision on the temporary reduction of excise duties on petroleum products. The new amendment extends the 20% excise duty reduction until September 13, RTS reported.

The current Decision on the temporary reduction of excise duties on petroleum products is valid until September 6.

The Government of Serbia has repeatedly extended the Decision on the temporary reduction of excise duties by a total of 20% due to the increase in producer prices of petroleum products due to the rise in the price of crude oil on the world market.
