Contract signed on additional capitalization of NLB Continental Banka - 20m EUR

International FInancial Corporation (IFC), the part of the World Bank that deals with the investment into private sector, approved the loan in amount of 20m EUR to Nova Ljubljanska Banka Continental banka (NLB Continental) from Novi Sad.

The contract on credit has been signed in Novi Sad by the manager of IFC for central and eastern Europe and the newly appointed regional vice-president for Europe, Africa and Near East, Edvard Nassim, and the manager of NLB Continental banka Zoran Đurović.

According to the words of Nassim, this credit line is in accordance with the IFC strategy whose aim is to enable long-term financing of the population and small and mid-sized enterprises, whereas the new important service will be the mortgage loans.
