Uzice to get new surgical block and emergency center on 45,000 m2 – Construction of complex worth EUR 85.2 million approved

A building permit has been issued in Uzice for the construction of a new facility for the Surgical Block and Emergency Department of the Uzice Health Center, with a total gross area of more than 45,500 m2. The estimated value of the works is RSD 10.26 billion, or approximately EUR 85.2 million excluding VAT.

The permit was issued by the City Administration for Urban Planning, Construction and Property Affairs of Uzice to the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Health and the Uzice Health Center.

The new facility will be built at 17 Milosa Obrenovica Street, on cadastral plot 10636/1 KO Uzice, and is designed as a building with a floor structure of 3B+GF+12. This is a category V facility, which will include a building for medical and surgical treatment and patient care, as well as underground and above-ground garages.

The total gross developed area of the facility will be 45,553.30 m2.

Before the start of the works, it is planned to remove the existing facilities on the site, including the psychiatric outpatient clinic, psychiatric ward, microbiology laboratory, psychiatric day hospital and garage.

The project documentation was prepared by the Almis company from Belgrade.
