This is an open public procurement procedure, and the deadline for submitting bids is August 18, 2026. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest-price criterion.
According to the tender documentation, the project is being financed as part of the establishment of the Gaming Industry Development Center in Brod, based on a decision by the Office of the President of Republika Srpska dated March 24 this year to allocate financial assistance.
The project envisages the reconstruction and adaptation of part of the first floor of the City Market, including the reorganization of the space and its complete outfitting for the future gaming incubator.
The scope includes construction and finishing works, including demolition, earthworks, concrete and reinforcement works, masonry, waterproofing, carpentry, metalwork and sheet-metal works, as well as other finishing works. The installation of electrical systems, water supply and sewerage networks and mechanical systems is also planned, along with system integration and the installation of computer workstations, in accordance with the project documentation.
The works will be carried out in the City Market building in 26. Avgusta Street in Brod, with a completion deadline of six months from the date the contract becomes legally effective and the contractor is introduced to the site, which must take place no later than ten days after the contract is signed.
The project represents one of the key activities under the Municipality of Brod's Gaming Industry Development Strategy, through which the local community aims to develop an entirely new economic sector and position itself as a gaming industry center in Republika Srpska.
Following the Model of the Center in Novska
In May this year, the Brod Municipal Assembly adopted the Gaming Industry Development Strategy, creating the prerequisites for implementation of the project. Novska in Croatia was selected as the development model, having developed dozens of startup companies through its gaming incubator and become a regional center for video game development.
The next step followed in June, when the "Brodogradiliste" project was presented. It was announced at the time that Brod would establish a Gaming Industry Development Center, where young people would have the opportunity to receive training in video game development, 3D modeling, simulations and other areas of the IT sector. During the initial phase, instructors will be experts from the Gaming Industry Development Center in Novska, with the aim of training local professionals who will continue educating future generations.
The Municipality of Brod previously stated that it wants the project to contribute to the creation of new jobs, the retention of young people and the development of a modern IT industry, which could make Brod recognizable throughout Republika Srpska.
