"Laza Telecki Day" in Novi Sad on July 27 - Remembering the First Professional Actor

The "Laza Telecki Day" event, dedicated to the memory of the important figure of Serbian theater, the first Serbian professional actor, director and prominent member of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, will be held on Monday, July 27, in the street bearing his name: Laze Teleckog Street.

The central part of the program begins at 5 p.m. in the garden of the "Lazin Salas" restaurant, where a lecture dedicated to the life and significance of Laza Telecki will be held.

In addition, a special drama and music program will be staged along Laze Teleckog Street, bringing the spirit of theatrical art to life and complementing the atmosphere of this unique event.

Throughout the day, the "Laza Telecki" exhibition will be displayed in the pedestrian zone, presenting the most significant moments from his life, artistic career and contribution to the development of Serbian theater.

The program is designed as a remembrance of the life and work of an artist who, although he died at the age of 32, left a profound and lasting mark on the history of Serbian culture and theater.

The aim of the event is to introduce visitors, particularly younger generations, to the life and work of Laza Telecki through a rich cultural and artistic program.

Admission to all events is free of charge.
