Serbian Brand Kafeterija Expands to Bulgaria

Kafeterija, a Serbian specialty coffee shop chain, supported by BlackPeak Capital, has acquired Eddy's - one of Bulgaria's leading food and coffee chains.

Less than a year after BlackPeak Capital's investment, this marks Kafeterija's first acquisition outside Serbia - and a significant step toward building a leading specialty coffee shop brand in Southeast Europe.

As part of the acquisition, Eddy's locations will expand their offering with Kafeterija's signature coffee, combining its brand with the operating standards and coffee culture that the Serbian chain has built over the past several years.

Kafeterija has a network of more than 60 locations across Serbia and Montenegro.
