One Bid Submitted for Procurement of 60 Trolleybuses, but Financial Leasing Not Secured

One bid has been submitted in the tender for the procurement of 60 trolleybuses for the needs of the Belgrade Public Transport Company, which was announced in March and extended five times, eKapija has learned.

According to our information, the only bid in this public procurement procedure was submitted by SDT Group.

The company submitted a bid worth EUR 53,928,000.

SDT Group offered a delivery deadline of 270 days for the first lot of vehicles.

The company offered trolleybuses with an autonomous range of up to 20 km.

However, this does not mean that the public procurement procedure will be successful, as eKapija has learned that financial leasing has not been secured, meaning that the trolleybus tender will be canceled.

As a reminder, the tender envisaged the procurement of 60 vehicles through financial leasing. The plan was to procure single-unit, low-floor, air-conditioned vehicles with extended autonomous range, specifically a range of at least 15 kilometers. The estimated value of the procurement was 6.58 billion dinars.
