Athletics Track in Krusevac to Be Renovated - Sports Center Allocates RSD 20 Million for Works

Good news for sports enthusiasts in Krusevac: the Sports Center athletics track will be renovated.

Sports Center Krusevac has announced a tender for works on the refurbishment of the track at the center's athletics and football complex.

The estimated value of the works is RSD 20,000,000, while the total surface area of the track to be refurbished is 6,247 m2.

The procurement includes works involving the cleaning of the existing athletics track using a pressurized hot-water machine to remove dirt, followed by cutting out and patching damaged sections of the track covering a total area of 100 m2.

The list of works also includes the application of one layer of primer over the entire surface of the athletics track (6,247 m2), followed by the application of a retopping layer to the tartan surface.

The procurement also includes works involving the measurement and marking of the athletics track using two-component polyurethane paints in accordance with WA (World Athletics) regulations.

Among the Contracting Authority's requirements is that the Bidder must provide a reference demonstrating that, within the past 5 years, it has installed and obtained WA certification for at least one athletics track using a spray coating system.

The certificate must name the bidder as the installer of the reference athletics track, and a copy of the WA certificate and confirmation from the reference contracting authority must be submitted as evidence.

The deadline for completion of the construction works covered by the procurement is up to 30 calendar days from the commencement of works.

A note states that the Contracting Authority will allow a site visit for the works, but only with prior registration, which must be submitted one day before the intended visit on the interested party's letterhead.

The registration must contain information about the persons authorized to visit the site.

The deadline for submitting tender documentation is August 14.
