Details of construction of new retail park in Sombor – 15 shops and 212 parking spaces planned on almost 13,750 m2

Location requirements have been issued in Sombor for the construction and expansion of a new retail park on an area of about 2.65 hectares, which will include a shopping complex with 15 business premises and 212 parking spaces.

The investor of the project is the company Sinagoga doo Sombor. As the company announced in May, the facility will, according to the project, unite sales spaces of domestic and international brands, pedestrian and green areas, as well as parking space for visitors.

According to the issued location requirements, the complex will be built in two phases. The first phase includes the expansion of part of the existing facility, as well as the construction of new parts of the complex on adjacent plots, while the second phase involves the continuation of construction through parts E and F, which will form a single whole in the shape of the letter “U”.

The total gross developed construction area of the planned retail park is approximately 13,747 m2, with a plot occupancy index of 49.88%. 20% of green areas have been designed, and 10 parking spaces for people with disabilities will be provided within the complex.

The planned facilities include retail trade, storage of goods and management of the retail park complex. The existing ground-floor office building will be retained, while the new works will form an expanded retail complex.

Access to the complex is planned via a reconstructed connection to the IB-grade state road No. 12 (Subotica–Sombor–Odzaci), with the formation of an internal two-way road and the reorganization of parking and green areas.

The location requirements were issued on July 1, 2026.
