Teklas Automotive expanding production complex in Vladicin Han

The production complex for the automotive industry in the Lepenica settlement near Vladicin Han will be expanded, after the Municipal Administration issued a building permit for the extension and adaptation of the existing production hall.

According to the decision, the works will be carried out within the existing production complex on cadastral plot 3320 in KO Lepenica, and will include the expansion of several functional units intended for production and employees. The name of the investor was not published in the decision, but by looking at the cadastral plot, it can be seen that it is a production facility of the Turkish company Teklas Automotive. The first Teklas Automotive factory opened in Vladicin Han in April 2016, and in 2017, construction of a new facility began, as well as a swimming pool for workers.

This building permit plans to extend the passage between the buildings, expand the cafeteria, build a new women’s locker room with a toilet, a storage room, and a secondary battery charging station for electric industrial vehicles. It also plans to build a canopy of approximately 770 m2 next to one of the production facilities.

The buildings will remain single-story, and these are industrial buildings intended for the production of parts for the automotive industry.

According to the documentation, the estimated value of the works is 1.3 million dinars, while the investor must pay a contribution for the development of the construction land in the amount of approximately 158,000 dinars before registering the works.

The building permit stipulates that the investor must begin the works within three years of its entry into force, while the use permit must be obtained no later than five years.
