Tender announced for sale of Prokuplje-based "Hissar"

According to the public invitation for participation in the tender for sale of "Hissar", the buyers can be the companies that deal with production or sale of cocoa, chocolate or confectioneries for at least three last years and whose last-year income was above 5m EUR.

The bids can be sent by the financial investors with the assets of over 100m EUR. The request for procurement of tender dossier can be delivered prior to July 3, 2006. The deadline for delivery of final offers with the deposit of 50,000 EUR is August 4.

So far, "Hissar" was offered for sale on two occasions, but there were no interested buyers. At the end of 2005, "Hissar" had about 680 workers. That company's loss amount to 272m CSD, whereas the obligations equal 1 billion CSD.

"Hissar" owns 500 ha of agricultural land and several production and retail facilities.
