– This year, we plan to open more than 100 km of expressways. The opening of the new highway from the Preljina-Cacak interchange to the Adrani-Kraljevo interchange in the length of 29 km is a big deal for the citizens of that part of Serbia – said Antic.
The length of the Morava Corridor is 112 km, and it should be completed by the end of this year.
Speaking about the importance of the new section, Antic emphasized that it represented a new traffic connection between Kraljevo and the rest of the country.
As he emphasized, the Morava Corridor will be the first digitalized 5G highway in Serbia.
– The Morava Corridor itself will also bring three new industrial zones – Antic emphasized.
– We are particularly proud that we have connected Kraljevo to the highway network and thus further improved the development of the Raska region – said Antic in an interview on TV Prva.
As he said, about 72 kilometers have been opened to traffic so far, from Pojate to Vrba.
– Since Vrba is already located in the territory of the city of Kraljevo, we are now opening the section between the Preljina-Cacak and Adrani-Kraljevo interchanges, approximately 29 kilometers long. This is the most modern highway that we are currently building in Serbia. It is almost two meters wider than other highways, has additional safety systems, as well as elements of a smart highway with advanced signaling, warnings and monitoring of key parameters. This is a truly exceptional section – said Antic.
