The Public Debt Administration of the Republic of Serbia yesterday held this auction, which reopened the issue of five-year government bonds. These are debt securities that were originally issued on July 28, 2025, with a final maturity date of July 30, 2030.
As announced, the interest of financial market participants was higher than the realized amount, and the total demand volume was recorded at around 31 billion dinars.
The government bonds were sold at this auction at an effective yield of 5.00 percent per annum. According to the official terms of this issue, the coupon rate is 4.50 percent. The coupon payment to investors who purchased these securities will be made once a year, every July 30, until the final maturity and payment of the principal in July 2030.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the funds collected will be used to finance the obligations stipulated in the Budget Law.
