Rosatom companies interested in stronger presence and business in Serbia

Serbia will work with Moscow-based Rosatom on an initiative for the arrival of a larger number of digital and IT companies from that company’s system, announced Minister of Information and Telecommunications Boris Bratina.

At a meeting with Rosatom’s Director for Information Technology and Digitalization Evgeniy Abakumov in St. Petersburg, he thanked the company for “the successful business with Serbia so far and its significant contribution to the development of modern technological solutions.”

Abakumov expressed gratitude to Minister Bratina for the help, support and useful advice so far, emphasizing Rosatom’s great interest in strengthening its presence and business on the Serbian market.

They agreed that Serbia had a reliable and encouraging environment for the development of high-tech investments, and that there was significant potential for expanding cooperation in the areas of digitalization, innovation and the development of advanced technological solutions, the ministry said in a statement.
