Ekoplast-S begins construction of plastic packaging factory in Sabac

The company Ekoplast-S from Sabac has begun construction of a new industrial facility for the production of plastic packaging in the city’s industrial zone, after registering the works, documents from the Sabac City Administration confirm.

The new production facility is being built on a plot at 1 Severna transverzala Street, and according to the building permit issued in April this year, the facility will have a gross area of 1,087 m2.

It is an industrial facility with a ground floor + first floor, with a maximum height of 7.55 meters, intended for the production of plastic packaging. The investor is the company Ekoplast-S DOO Sabac, while the project and technical documentation was prepared by the company Grading projekt from Sabac.

The estimated cost of the works is estimated at 33.34 million dinars.

The construction permit for the implementation of the investment was issued on April 7, 2026, and the start of works was registered on June 1. The facility will be built on a 4,638 m2 plot within the city’s industrial zone.

As part of the procedure, approvals and decisions in the field of environmental protection and waste management were obtained, while it was confirmed that no contribution for the development of construction land was calculated for this production facility, in accordance with the regulations relating to production and storage facilities.
