The Sport Vision “family” will be expanded by another chain of sports footwear and clothing stores. More precisely, in several countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

The company BDS Co has reported to the North Macedonian antimonopoly commission a concentration by which it will gain control over eight companies owned by the Polish Marketing Investment Group.

Marketing Investment Group has its companies in Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. As can be seen, they have been operating in the footwear and clothing sales segment for three decades.

In Poland, they run the Sizeer, 50 style, Timberland and Symbiosis chains.

“BDS Co is a company founded in Serbia and is part of the Sport Vision group,” the North Macedonian antimonopoly commission says in a statement.

It is also emphasized that the Sport Vision group’s business is wholesale and retail of sports footwear, clothing and equipment throughout Southeast Europe.

It employs more than 6,500 people and operates in 13 countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
