For Centrosinergija, the starting point in the digital transformation was the need to improve efficiency in the environment characterized by a large volume of operations, complex route planning and high requirements for accuracy and speed of delivery. Traditional approaches to planning and process management, which relied heavily on experience and manual procedures, limited the possibilities for further optimization and business scaling.
In response to these challenges, Centrosinergija has implemented a comprehensive digitalization of key logistical and operational processes. This system has significantly improved the transparency and reliability of the service, but also enabled better internal control and management of processes.
At the same time, an advanced software solution for the optimization of transport and commercial routes was implemented, which enables precise planning, reduction of total mileage and more efficient use of resources. By introducing a software routing system, which is integrated with GPS tracking, WMS solutions and delivery applications, the company has gained the ability of detailed analytics and real-time performance monitoring. This improved delivery accuracy, reduced operating costs and additionally increased the reliability of the entire logistics system.
Digital transformation was not only focused on technology, but also on improving organizational processes and work methods. Automation within the distribution-logistics center in Makis enabled a higher level of productivity and better working conditions for employees, while standardized digital workflows improved coordination between teams and reduced dependence on manual procedures thanks to track & trace systems for tracking and tracing tobacco products throughout the supply chain.
The results of these initiatives are reflected in a significant efficiency increase, better utilization of resources and improvement of the service-quality towards clients. The information flow is accelerated, business transparency is increased and more accurate data-based decisions are made. At the same time, the optimization of the process contributed to the sustainability of the business through the reduction of fuel consumption and harmful gas emissions, which was additionally supported by the introduction of CNG fuel and the implementation of electric vehicles in the logistics fleet.
Centrosinergija`s experience shows that a successful digital transformation in logistics involves the integration of technology, data and people into a single system that enables continuous improvement. The key to success lies in a gradual approach, a clear understanding of the operational challenges and the organization`s readiness to adapt its processes to new technological solutions. In this way, digitalization becomes not only a tool for increasing efficiency, but also the basis for long-term growth, sustainability, exponential modernization and competitive advantage in the market.
