Gazprom Neft: We are negotiating exclusively with MOL on the sale of NIS

Gazprom Neft is not holding talks on the sale of its stake in Serbian NIS with any other companies except MOL, the Russian oil producer told TASS.

– Gazprom Neft is at the active stage of preparing the transaction on the sale of its stake in NIS to Hungarian company MOL. Required corporate and regulatory procedures are being implemented now – the company said.

– The company is not holding any other negotiations on this matter – the Russian oil producer added, as reported by TASS.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that the recently established Serbian company KFT Senator Treasury G.T.7 had offered two billion euros to Russia’s Gazprom Neft and Gazprom for their combined 56.1 percent stake in NIS, citing a statement by its owner, Ranko Mimovic.
