Ecka to get 10 MW solar power plant – DRP for this project available for public review

The investor Belyn Solar plans to build a 10 MW solar power plant Ecka 1 near the Zrenjanin settlement of Ecka.

The detailed regulation plan, prepared by the Nuova Architectural Studio from Zrenjanin, is available for public review starting from May 1 until the end of the month.

The area covered by the plan is 10.77 ha. The area in question is mostly agricultural land.

The plot leans on the roadbed of the planned state road Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad highway (A6).

As stated in the plan, the land under the solar panels will continue to be used for agricultural purposes. The area of this zone is about 8.47 ha. It is planned that the energy facility - the Ecka 1 solar power plant at the connection point to the electricity distribution system can supply power up to 9.99 MW.

Let us remind that, at the Zrenjanin City Council session in September last year, a draft decision on the development of a Detailed Regulation Plan for this project was adopted.
