The Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade has recommended the withdrawal of the Forever model Black 1940 electric bicycle from the Serbian market, as it is too risky to use.

According to the website of this ministry, this bicycle with a lithium battery, marked D-022 and with a load capacity of 18 kg, was manufactured by the company VLN International Limited from China.

– The affected products do not have a sufficient battery protection system that would prevent the battery from overheating. If the product is charged and left unattended overnight, the battery may explode and cause a fire – writes the MUST website in the Unsafe Products (NEPRO) section.

The statement also adds that the product is being withdrawn from the market and from consumers for destruction. The importer of this disputed product is the company Sai Kang doo from Pancevo.
