The newly founded company Alta Retail, owned by Davor Macura, paid EUR 40 million for Idea Marketi and four other companies that operated in Serbia under the auspices of the Croatian Fortenova Group, Nedeljnik.rs reports.

In order to buy Idea Marketi, Macura founded a separate company, Alta Retail, just for that purpose. In addition to retail, Alta retail bought four other companies from Fortenova that operate in Serbia: M-PROFIL SPV, MStart Business Solutions, Super Kartica and ENNA Fruit.

Nedeljnik learned from two sources familiar with the transaction that Davor Macura paid EUR 40 million for the capital of Idea Marketi. However, he also bought its debt of EUR 100 million along with the company, so the enterprise value of Idea Marketi reached EUR 140 million for him.

According to the portal, the Aman retail chain bought DIS for around EUR 50 million. The total purchase package is worth EUR 90 million because DIS’s debt of EUR 40 million is included in the enterprise value.
