For the second time, wine and brandy producers from Serbia participated in the ProWine wine and spirits fair in Tokyo, which is being held from 15 to 17 April and brings together a total of 190 exhibitors from 23 countries.

Serbian Ambassador Aleksandra Kovac and representatives of the Embassy visited the joint Serbian stand, where six wineries and one distillery are exhibiting. This joint presentation represents an important step towards the promotion of Serbian wines and spirits, but also Serbia in general, on the Japanese market, as well as the wider Asia-Pacific region. It was also assessed that the holding of the Yokohama Horticultural Expo 2027, which opened on March 19 and lasts for six months, is a very good opportunity to present the strengthening of bilateral trade exchange and our alcoholic beverages in the Serbian Pavilion.

Also, the promotion of wineries and distilleries participating in the fair was held at the Embassy of Serbia. In addition to representatives of Serbian manufacturers, the event was attended by Japanese partners, distributors, media and experts in this field, the mayor of the twin city of Sabac, Fujimi, as well as the president of the Japan-Serbia Society and former Japanese Ambassador to Serbia, Toshio Tsunozaki.
