India’s Zensar opens technology and engineering center in Belgrade

The Indian company Zensar Technologies has opened a technology and engineering center in Belgrade, as part of its expansion into the European market.

This mid-sized IT company, headquartered in Pune, has about 10,000 employees and provides software development and digital transformation services to global clients, primarily in the US and Europe.

The new center is located in Airport City in New Belgrade and covers an area of about 1,000 square meters. According to the company’s statement, the facility will serve as a regional hub for providing IT services to clients across Europe, with a focus on digital transformation and solutions based on artificial intelligence.

The company states that Serbia was chosen due to the availability of engineering staff, a growing technology ecosystem and proximity to key European markets.

Cooperation with domestic universities and educational institutions is also planned for the purpose of developing professional staff.
