Industrial production in Serbia in February lower by 0.3% than a year before

Industrial production in the Republic of Serbia, in February 2026 was lower by 0.3% compared to the same month in 2025, and compared to the 2025 average was by 3.0% lower, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced.

Industrial production in the period January-February 2026, relative to the same period 2025 decreased by 4.7%.

Observed by sections, in February 2026 compared to the same month of 2025, industrial production in the Mining and quarrying section decreased by 9.0%, in the Manufacturing section increased by 1.2% and in the Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning decreased by 1.6%.

The volume of industrial production in February 2026, compared to February 2025, is lower in 19 areas, whose share in the structure of industrial production is 72%.
