EUR 870,000 for sewerage network in Bela Crkva

The Vojvodina government signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of sewerage in the village of Kruscica with the municipality of Bela Crkva, the Environment Protection Fund of Serbia and the Czech Development Agency on Friday (16 March 2012), as part of the development cooperation between Serbia and Czech Republic.
Provincial Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic and Czech Ambassador to Serbia Hana Hubachkova agreed that it was a historical event because a fourth of the population in Kruscica were Czechs, the Provincial Information Secretariat announced.
They assessed that the resolving of the problem of sewerage system would improve the living standard and contribute to the development of agriculture.
The Czech Development Agency set aside about EUR 720,000 for that project, the Environment Protection Fund earmarked EUR 100,000, whereas the Vojvodina government contributed EUR 50,000.
As it was announced, the works will kick off in mid-2012 and end in autumn 2014.
