EU publishes tender: equipment to be procured for Regional Waste Management Center in Novi Sad

The Delegation of the European Union in Serbia has published the tender for the procurement of equipment for the Establishment of the Regional Waste Management System for the city of Novi Sad and another seven municipalities.

This is a procurement of a wide range of equipment meant for the future Regional Waste Management Center, which will also cover the municipalities of Backa Palanka, Backi Petrovac, Beocin, Zabalj, Srbobran, Temerin and Vrbas.

The tender is published within the EU program of support to candidate countries and implemented by the Ministry of Finance of Serbia, Department for Contracting and Financing of EU Funded Programs (CFCU).

The procedure is divided into four parts (lots), which include the procurement of mobile landfill equipment, waste collection vehicles, household bins and containers, as well as underground and bell-like containers for public areas. All equipment is intended to improve waste collection, transport and treatment in this region.

The tender is being implemented through the IPA III program of the European Union, and the criterion for selecting the most favorable offer is the price, with a share of 100%. The expected duration of the contract ranges from two to almost three years, depending on the lot.
