Discount of 10% on prescription drugs - INOVIA and Republic Health Insurance Fund continue cooperation in 2012

Manufacturers of innovative drugs gathered in the Association INOVIA have reached an agreement with the Republic Health Insurance Fund (RHIF) to continue to give a 10-percent discount on prescription drugs (lists A and A1) in 2012, the RHIF said in a statement today.

Members of INOVIA, that is, 16 drug makers, have extended the validity of the Protocol on Cooperation with the RHIF until the year's end, and that Protocol defines the discount on prescription drugs.

Thanks to this Protocol, the RHIF saved RSD 1.6 billion last year, and this year's savings are expected to be even bigger, reads the statement.
