Hilton coming to Arandjelovac – Bekament signs franchise agreement for hotel construction, investment exceeding EUR 40 million

The Bekament company has signed a franchise agreement with the hotel company Hilton Worldwide for the construction of a hotel in Arandjelovac. The investment is worth more than EUR 40 million.

– I believe that with this project we will give a strong boost to the local economy, but also lay the foundation for the long-term positioning of the city as a recognizable destination on the tourist map of the region – said Aleksandar Colovic, owner of the Bekament company.

The Bekament company will, as stated, be the franchisee, but also the investor and contractor.

– Hilton has existed for 106 years and has a long history of being the first brand in many countries and destinations. And I really think we can achieve the same effect in Arandjelovac, in terms of creating a new destination for Serbia and the region – said Michael Collini, Vice President of Development for the Central, Eastern and Southern Europe region, Hilton.

As Nemanja Gavrilovic, a member of the Sports Council in Arandjelovac, recently stated, the hotel will be built on the site of the existing FK Sumadija field.

Namely, as the Srbija danas portal reported, at the initiative of the Bekament company, an assembly decision was made according to which this company committed to building a modern football stadium with all accompanying facilities and an auxiliary field. On the other hand, the local government committed to exchanging land for the existing FK Sumadija field in Arandjelovac, where the construction of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts hotel is planned.
