Toma Vukić, Director of Licensing at Mozzart: It matters who you play with - Mozart's winning green economy team

- Transparency is the foundation of our responsibility and the figures from 2025 best illustrate the effectiveness of the system which we have established. Our terrain has become significantly wider, which resulted in a 24 percent increase in the total amount of disposed waste. During the past year, by recycling more than 41 tons of material, we directly saved about 350 trees and prevented 160,000 plastic bottles from ending up in the environment. The energy savings achieved by these processes are measured by hundreds of thousands of operating hours of household appliances, which represents a direct contribution to the reduction of harmful gas emissions - explains Toma Vukić, Director of the Licensing Sector at the company Mozzart.

- Cooperation with beekeepers in Vlasina occupies a special place in our portfolio of social responsibility. Aware of the fact that bees are the key guardians of ecosystems, we supported local beekeepers in their mission to preserve bee colonies on this mountain beauty. This action was not only to support rural development, but an investment in the survival of food chains and natural balance - adds Toma and points out that the employees of the Mozzart company invested similar enthusiasm in SRP Obedska bar.

- Through clean-up work and support for the conservation projects of this special nature reserve, Mozzart demonstrates that they understands the local context of environmental challenges. Our goal is clear- to preserve natural habitats for future generations, because a sustainable economy cannot exist without the preserved natural capital.

- The winning team includes visionaries, that use technology to directly reduce the ecological footprint, which we confirmed through a successfully implemented pilot competition with the domestic startup Ride&Stride. During the two months of intense `sustainability competition`, about 500 colleagues from Mozart showed that they are champions even outside the workplace, by choosing sustainable ways of getting to and from work. The results of this eco-challenge are impressive, and with our joint efforts we reduced CO2 emissions by as much as 1.34 tons (1,340 kg). To make this success easier to visualize, that contribution is equivalent to the absorption of 766 tree trunks between 10 and 15 years old. Such partnerships are not only an investment in green innovation, but also a clear signal that we are counting on the energy of our employees in the environmental game who change the rules of the game every day in favor of nature - adds our interlocutor and points out that new "green" projects are yet to come in Mozzart.
