Nis Plans Three Public Garages With a Total of 1,350 New Parking Spaces

The construction of three public garages with a total of 1,350 parking spaces is planned in Nis, Mayor Dragoslav Pavlovic has announced.

One garage is planned near the Emergency Medical Service and is intended for about 450 vehicles. The second planned location is in the area of the Clinical Center, where approximately 450 parking spaces are also planned.

The third garage is planned on Saint Panteleimon Boulevard, between newer residential blocks, in the area around Studenicka Street, Pavlovic said while appearing on NisTV.

According to him, this part of the city has been identified as a location with a pronounced parking problem.

For the Pantelej location, the construction of an underground garage is planned in order to use the space as efficiently as possible. Pavlovic emphasized that the necessary land plots have already been secured for the implementation of this project.

The mayor said that the projects are currently in the planning phase and that the public will be informed in a timely manner about the next steps and the timeline of the works.
