Company "Zastava automobili" obtains new series of machines required for production of "Fiat" production programme

The representatives of Italian company "Komau", which operates in the makeup of company “Fiat”, will arrive next week in Kragujevac in order to sign the contract on delivery of machines for automobile production lines with the management of the newly formed company "Zastava auto".

It is the production line for assembling caroseries and welding of castings for model "Zastava 10", which will be produced by the Kragujevac-based company according to the contract signed before with Italian "Fiat". "Komau" is one of the leading world companies in field of production of equipment for automobile industry and, at the moment, it prepares delivery of production line for "Mercedes". In September 2005, "Zastava automobili" and “Fiat” signed contract on cooperation, which implied that Italian "Punto" be assembled in the units of Kragujevac-based factory and to bear name "Zastava 10". In January 2006, the first shipment of "Punto" with the name "Zastava10" arrived and, ever since, certain quantities keep arriving.
