Pink Taxi and Yandex Go have entered into a partnership under which Pink Taxi will continue to operate as a taxi company under its own brand, but a new joint, unified technology platform will be introduced for drivers of both services.

This means that starting this week, it will also be possible to order Pink’s vehicles via the Yandex app. Until now, Pink was the only taxi association that was not part of Yandex in Serbia, writes Nova ekonomija.

Yandex Go, an app from Russian IT giant Yandex, does not own its own vehicles, but is only an app that connects customers with all taxi associations, i.e. with all taxi drivers who accept orders through the app.

Yandex Go’s commission for partners (taxi drivers) is 10% excluding VAT and has not changed since July 2020.

The President of the Federation of Taxi Associations of Serbia, Aleksandar Bijelic, said that Pink owned just over 70 vehicles, and another 2,200 taxi entrepreneurs in its membership who had their own vehicles.

There are about 6,500 registered taxis in Belgrade.
