Habit Pharm goes bankrupt

The Commercial Court in Cacak has issued a decision to end the bankruptcy proceedings opened against the pharmaceutical plant Habit Pharm in Prilike near Ivanjica and declare its bankruptcy. Bankruptcy Judge Marija Adzemovic has ordered Bankruptcy Manager Ljubisa Djokic from Uzice to prepare everything for the sale of the plant's assets.

At previous hearings, RSD 13.5 billion or EUR 122.8 million worth of claims of Habit Pharm's creditors have been acknowledged by the Court, while RSD 3.5 billion (EUR 32 million) claims have been disputed.

The largest creditors of the bankrupted debtor are business banks: Agrobanka (RSD 4.04 billion), AIK Banka (RSD 2.07 billion), Piraeus Bank (RSD 1.2 billion), and related juristic persons: Ivanjica-based Western Style in bankruptcy (RSD 2.6 billion) and Ivanjica-based Mercury International in bankruptcy (RSD 1.24 billion).
