Serbian legal-tech startup transforming UK immigration process

Serbian legal-tech startup Immigrationist has officially launched an innovative digital platform that uses artificial intelligence to automate and simplify the UK immigration process. The solution was developed with the aim of making the complex and often stressful administrative procedures within the UK system faster, more accessible and more reliable for users around the world. The startup’s development was supported by the Innovation Fund through the Smart Start 2025 program.

The Immigrationist startup was created in response to the growing need for greater clarity, precision and predictability in the field of international immigration procedures. The platform focuses on the British system, which is considered one of the most regulatory demanding ones, especially after Brexit and frequent regulatory changes, the statement says.

Every year, more than two million applicants go through a complex administrative framework, facing extensive documentation and dynamic regulations. Immigrationist integrates conversational artificial intelligence with an updated regulatory database and thus provides users with a guided application through every step of the process, from the initial assessment of eligibility to the preparation of complete documentation in accordance with the current rules of the British Home Office, which makes decisions on visa issuance.

One of the main components of the platform is a free “eligibility check” that, through a dozen simple questions, estimates the chances of success of the application with an accuracy of about 95%. This significantly reduces the number of errors, while the service is available 24/7 at prices that are many times lower than traditional legal services.

Risk management is based on a triple protection model: high technical accuracy of the system, testing the solution on real cases in cooperation with a renowned London law firm, as well as a money-back guarantee for users if they are not satisfied with the service before the application is submitted.

The technological relevance and international potential of this innovative solution was also confirmed by the startup’s entry into the global “NVIDIA Inception” program. After launching on the global market, the company’s focus will be on collecting pre-seed investments (for which there is already interest from both angel investors and domestic and foreign VC funds), expanding to priority international markets, as well as developing B2B cooperation with law firms and universities.
