In order to promote the offer of Serbian companies, define technical challenges in logistics, and overall strengthen exports to Russia, the Representative Office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce held meetings with the management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, administrations of regions and districts of Russia, import directors of leading Russian retail chains “H5” and “Magnit” and Senator of the Russian Federation, member of the Federation Council Committee for International Relations A. – Regardless of the overall international situation, restrictive trade sanctions, demanding logistics, freight forwarding, transport and customs procedures, restrictions on foreign exchange transfers, instability and the inability to design and plan business, which negatively affected the dynamic growth of exports in the previous period, the Russian Federation, according to the Serbian business community, continues to represent a leading, strategic market for the sale of Serbian food products – says Dejan Delic, Director of the Representative Office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in the Russian Federation.

Total exports of Serbian agricultural and food products to the Russian Federation in 2025 amounted to 300 million dollars, with a growth of four percent compared to the previous year. The most exported products were energy drinks, apples, frozen cherries, young cheese and dairy spreads, baby food, confectionery, pet food, etc.
