Novi Sad-based Preston Holding announced that it had taken over 100% of the shares in Flora Foods Becej from the Dutch company Wheat Corn Holding B.V. Flora is a manufacturer of frozen and sterilized fruits and vegetables, with a tradition of more than 40 years, as well as an annual processing capacity of up to 18,000 tons, and it markets its products on the domestic and international markets.

– The entry of the Flora factory into the Preston Holding system represents the beginning of a new development phase for the factory, with a focus on technological investments, increasing capacities and strengthening cooperation with domestic agricultural producers. The transaction is part of the holding’s long-term strategy aimed at investing in manufacturing companies with clear potential for growth, export and operational improvement – the statement said.

Preston Holding is an investment and development company with experience in complex restructurings.

The company was previously the founder and co-owner of MK Logistika with MK Group, from whose ownership it exited in accordance with the investment strategy.

The owner of Preston Holding, Davor Milicevic, was awarded the “Najevropljanin” award in the field of business management for 2019 by the “First Europe House” in Belgrade.
